What for is this?
I have googled but not found.

Does anybody use this?

See https://github.com/openpnp/openpnp/wiki/Paste-Dispensing for how to enable paste dispense.

Hi Jason,

Thanks, changed it and see this now. I thought it's for something other not dispenser.

We had Navigation Panel some time ago, next to the Cameras view, that you have removed.
The panel was usable for quick searching where is some part on the board located also without necessarity to move the head. Just to point some part on the job list and see that part highlighted on the Navigation panel - and otherwise.

Does the navigation is gone completely or possible to enable similarily to the Solder Paste panel enabling?

brgds

The nav panel is gone. There were a lot of complaints about it because it required JavaFX and I didn't think anyone was using it - after asking here. My intention is to redesign the UI someday and the result will look a lot more like the nav panel, but who knows when that will happen.

When designing the interface, please avoid mouse drag operation as may users use
older laptops having only touchpad interface and then it happens a lot
of time when clicking on position that this is changed to mouse
dragging and the intendet move result totally different and please
don't suppose mouse have wheel , for the same reason.

Clear.
It was sometimes usable for us but as described: not to navigate the head but to use it as the tool for part finder/viewer only (i.e for fast identification some part missing on the board after assembling).

Cri it's absurdal to remove some feature because of some old laptops. For that case better to give an option for this - in GUI or in machine. I personaly use mouse dragging quite often.

Mouse wheel using in Openpnp, for me, is total nonsense when 0.01 zoom stepping is set as standard. But since advised how to change stepping it's great now :-).
But probably more universal and faster to operate would be the zoom slider instead of wheel, the best wheel + slider...

I have not advised to remove feature, it is possible to add menu entry
inside view menu
for setting zoom levels, or as example a checkbox to disable dragging.
Hovewer the issue is severe if machine operate without mouse, only as in this
case nozzle injury happen often as example during setup of feeder
offsets, and that is
really sad. The same issue is present on windows tablets with touch screen.

I have understood you suggest to remove it...
I'm fanatic of million checkboxes ;)

Understand what you want prevent to, good idea. Universal solution at least.
