Hello, I already have one machine and it works very well, but I've assembled a new one with different cameras and different working heights. I copied the Openpnp program and am trying to calibrate the new machine. Therefore, I have a question: what calibration steps should I perform, step by step? I know there's a troubleshooting option, but I don't fully understand how it works. For example, should I disable automatic camera calibration by following the steps when starting the process? Why is accurate nozzle offset calibration required after the bottom camera position is determined? Could someone describe the specific sequence from start to finish? Thank you and best regards.

To my understanding I&S would be the sequence as listed ! Start from the top and follow I&S

Ok, what about advanced camera calibration, at the end after the I&S pass or before?

At the end - its optional - you can use it or disable it as you like after it is completed.

Ok, but if I only want to calibrate the lower camera, what steps should I take? Set nozzle offsets to calibration points, then determine the lower camera position and automatically calibrate bootom cammera? Will these steps be enough? Regards.

Test it your way and if results are OK - than you have nothing to worry about....

Hi!
I&S assists you in setting up and calibrating your machine. There is no
need to follow it step by step. You may still choose to do one or the
other step using the old fashion way. I&S has just proven to work well
and provides at least for some steps highly sophisticated procedures
that are not available otherwise.
If you're replacing the bottom camera, there is no need to recalibrate
the nozzle offsets on the head. You could just reopen Advanced camera
calibration (for bottom camera) and initial camera calibration (for
bottom camera). (This assumes you're sure that you did not changed
anything else.) You can then rerun initial camera calibration to set its
(new) position and working heights. In addition you may do advanced
camera calibration.
