Hello,
After working on issues and solutions, I'm moving on to production testing.

I can't get a pipeline to align a component correctly with the top view. When I modify the pipeline, I get this error message:

The "results" pipeline step returned a rotatedRect but expected a list.

Because the standard pipeline gives me a circle that's not big enough.
I find it's still just as complex for Vision, as I came from version 1 a few years ago.

I'll share my entire configuration with you if you have a couple of minutes to help me get started. Thanks.

Hi,

You have not told us what you are trying to achieve. The screenshot shows you are configuring top vision, which is fiducial vision. But your camera view is showing a qfp part, which is an unusual target for top vision.

If you are configuring vision for precise alignment of the qfp part before placement then you need to use bottom vision, not top vision. Bottom vision is performed with the part carried by a nozzle.

Because the standard pipeline gives me a circle that's not big enough.

The solution to that problem on bottom vision is the "Vision Compositing" feature, which separately captures opposite corners of the package.

I find it's still just as complex for Vision, as I came from version 1 a few years ago.

In recent versions there should not be any routine need to tweak the stock pipelines.

Ok, that's what I thought, so we have to use the bottom view to align the components.
Too bad we can't do it with top alignment.
Thanks
