Not adding a letter Variable, when you have "Letter Variables"
enabled in the driver is a mis-configuration. Most
mis-configurations are not caught during operations. This would
burden the operations code with too many checks, negatively
affecting both code readability and performance. However,
mis-configurations should be caught by the Issues & Solutions
system.
Did Issues & Solutions not report the missing letter, when
you employed it, as I said?
Then please report it and perhaps send your machine.xml, so I can
fix it.
