New to group, not to PnP

I am new to the group but interested in a desktop PnP machine and will be reading previous posts to find out if people are building their own machines or buying OpenPnP based commercial machines.  

I know from being a part of a company that ran Juki machines that the cartridges/feeders are very important to a successful PnP machine, so I will be reading up on these for the desktop machines.  If someone who has some experience and opinions about the "right" combination machine and feeders and software I would be very interested to hear them.
