Hi Mark,

I have reconfigured my OpenPnP machine and get to the point in your video starting at 7:45min. I am missing the configuration of "pick & place pattern"
I can't find any information in Issues & Solutions about the settings of "pick & place pattern".

Do you have any idea where I can find these settings so that I can further configure my machine?

Do you mean the vacuum setup? Are you using the newest testing version?

Hi Mark,

Yes I use the latest version OpenPnP
2022-02-08_10-34-39.3b7371
from 08.02.2022

Yes I think it is also the Vacuum system.

It is about this explanatory text:
CAUTION The nozzle N1 will move to the test object and perform the calibration pick & place pattern. Make sure to load the right nozzle tip and ready the vacuum system.

Oder was meinst du?

Sorry if I crash into this conversation randomly, but this might be related:
I actually also noticed a potential nuisance with that calibration step: From what I can tell (I'm not on testing though), it doesn't seem to be possible to use blowoff functionality for picking the piece of paper.
This resulted in me having to temporarily adjust the place dwell time of my nozzle to 15000ms. This worked fine for me .... buuuut it took a while  ^^
Like I said, not really an issue or anything, just not thaaat ideal I guess.

You can use the I&S Nozzle solution to let it create and assign vacuum actuators.

The newest testing version will also tell you, where the ACTUATE and READ commands are missing, and it can propose templates, but not fully formulated G-code, as the relevant M-commands cannot be generally known.

I do not have a blow-off machine, so I can't test this. So if you commit yourself to help test this and are willing to switch to the testing version, I'll add a way to configure blow-off as soon as possible. 😁

Hi Mark,

just for a short explanation my Vacuum System consists of a Vacuum pump and 2 High-frequency Solenoid Valve 24VDC.
As far as I understand this is not a blow-off machine.
Or have I not understood something?

Hartmut> As far as I understand this is not a blow-off machine.

I should have made it clear: I was talking to @Bobbe, who said: "From what I can tell (I'm not on testing though), it doesn't seem to be possible to use blowoff functionality. This resulted in me having to temporarily adjust the place dwell time of my nozzle to 15000ms. "
