pandaplacer cc1 impression

Hi everyone,

I was the first to buy the CC1 from aliexpres.

No PNP experience before, I never used OpenPNP before also.

Pandaplacer support provided extraordinary assistance to me via emails.

I can't believe such a cheap machine is so good and precise.

I just placed 0402 components and you can see the results.

It looks like the CC1 machine has not specific docs area in their website but last time I talked to support they said they are working on the documentation.

You can find the configuration for the new machine though in their website so you can start using the machine.

I have a unboxing video (footage) and am working on a general 'start / setup' process for getting one of these machines going.

Really hoping Jim Drew's smoothfeeder would be done soon so I could showcase both it and the standard bamboofeeders.


I've used the original pandaplacer for ~2 years now with amazing success.
The new version absolutely has some feeder circuitry issues (I have one bad board but it took me ages to figure out what the problem was).

The vision system and motion system works. With true full openpnp advanced vision you can probably place 0201 components with great accuracy too.

Documentation needs to happen. If Leo doesn't get it out soon I'll just record the whole 'assembly and setup' process myself.

Been struggling myself with the assembly using the A1 docs as this is my first PnP experience, so this would be invaluable.  I'd literally pay for it 😂
