Hi,
I bought a PandaPlacer a few months ago and I think I overheated the top camera while attempting to rework a connector I broke off. I've bought two ELP cameras from different vendors and neither of them works, nor do they fit the light ring that the pandplacer came with (1mm too big in each dimension). Can anyone recommend a camera that will arrive in working condition and ideally a cheap one because this project has been a money hole so far, especially after blowing up the motion controller and needing to replace that.
Best,
Ellen

Hi, Ellen!
I got an ELP-USBFHD08S-MFV with an 2.8-12mm lens which seems to be a valuable
choice and it works as UVC on Linux. lsusb output attached.
Main feature: 60fps@1080p
OV4689 Sensor, rolling shutter, 2MPix, 1080pMJPEG@60fps, C-Mount
USB2.0
There might be similar USB3 models out there.
I am not sure if ELP cameras get already counterfeit "competitors". :-(
