Hi all,

The openpnp 2.3 beta release has just been updated with an important bug fix. The bug relates to whether machine delays (pick dwell time etc) are implemented by a gcode command, java operating system sleep, or a mix of both. Or neither.

A result of this bug was that anyone upgrading from 2.2 without setting a gcode DELAY_COMMAND had their dwell time delays eliminated, because openpnp was incorrectly using neither the gcode nor the operating system sleep. Thank you to Jorropo for reporting this issue.

This bug also affects anyone who had set DELAY_COMMAND because openpnp was incorrectly sending both the delay gcode and running the java sleep. Upgrading to today's second beta release eliminates the unnecessary java sleep which might give a tiny performance improvement. Please upgrade to this second beta release if you are able because extra testing would still be welcome.

The final release is still scheduled for the end of July.
