> After some feeds the mechanism is stuck
What does "some feeds" mean in number of parts? How "full" is the spool at this time?
> and it's necessary to take out the cover tape spool, unwind the accumulated film and insert it back for continuing the process, which is not convenient.
Well that's expected, and I hoped to make it simple by a) making the feeder easily removable, b) the lock and spool easily removable, c) the removed spool half open, so you can quickly get the cover tape off sideways/without unspooling, d) make it easy to reassemble, e) make it easy to re-attach the cover tape with the C-shaped spool drum clamp.
But obviously it should only be necessary after the spool is
well-filled, hence the questions above.

Well then something is obviously wrong. I tested for at least a thousand
parts.
How exactly is it stuck? Can you video it?

Hi Patricio ,
Nicely explained and documented.
So this means that the friction wheel has too much friction inside the drum, right?
Have you already tried to adjust the tension? See animation below.
Also, once assembled, I rotate the drum back-and-forth a bit to break it in.
