Join a Dinner Group31/5/11: If you feel you are going through a career transition, whether you are thinking about leaving your current job, or considering "what next" or you even have an idea that you would like to develop, you may find that joining a "Dinner group" will offer a lot of valuable support to help you navigate through this journey that may feel difficult at times.
A "Dinner group" is a group of 6-8 people, who are in some sort of transition, that meet regularly (every 4-6 weeks) over dinner to offer each other support and insight. Some of us, through Open Platform, have already participated in such a group and have really valued the support that we received. In this session we will form new groups, we will explain the process and each group will have their first Dinner together. This whole session takes place over food so please make sure you bring food to share".
For those not interested in joining a dinner group at this time we have an alternative group for some lively discussion around the following:
The aspects of our history and culture that have contributed to the environmental crisis we face, and the aspects that are contributing to our response to it. Also, how increased awareness of these aspects of our civilisation's inheritance can shape environmental and social activism.
