Hello, dear PIV community.

A couple of months ago I collected 4 batches of 1500 PIV image pairs each. I processed each of the batches separately with windef. The 1st, 2nd and 4th batches got processed without a problem. But when I was running the 3rd batch, windef  would suddenly stop at the PIV pair number 1396. The code would just stop without giving me any error. I removed PIV pair number 1396 from the batch and then the entire batch of 1499 PIV pairs got processed without a problem.

This week I completed collecting 432 batches of 1636 PIV image pairs each. I started processing them and encountered the same situation on my very first batch: the code just stopped without any error at the PIV pair number 246.

I have no idea what's going on. I am in huge hurry to process the data before the conference. I am wondering if anybody is aware of a quick fix.

Thank you in advance.
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

This is quite a peculiar bug. Please raise an issue on the openpiv-python Github repo and upload the batch that fails somewhere. If you need space, I can share a dropbox folder for it.

Done, Dr. Liberzon.
Let me know, please, if you can't access my shared Google drive or the description of the issue is not clear.
Thanks.
Ivan
