Hello,

Please forgive my ignorance in how to overcome this issue I’m currently facing. As a new user I wanted to attempt at using the python GUI (OpenPIV 0.4.11) to see how things worked. I downloaded two example images “exp1_001_a, exp1_001_b” and was attempting to use the settings outlined in the corresponding jupyter notebook (all_test_cases_sample.ipynb).

I believe I have imported the images correctly but seem to run into the following error upon starting the analysis:

Pre-pocessing image pair: 1

Evaluating image pair: 1

PIV evaluation thread stopped. module 'openpiv.windef' has no attribute 'get_coordinates'

Any insight into the underlying issue is greatly appreciated!

I resolved this in the new pull request - we wait for the admin to pull the changes and update the TK Gui version.

Meanwhile, you could try to install the upgrade from Git directly, using pip (please use another environment to be sure you get the latest version)
