Error in valrdy_to_credit.v file

Hi All,

While running synthesis on the core, I encountered an error while compiling valrdy_to_credit.v file saying:

Error:  ../rtl/valrdy_to_credit.v:60: The macro 'DATA_WIDTH' has not been defined. 

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Hi Rawan,

Please make sure that all the header files are compiled and macro definitions are passed to the RTL source files.

Hi Rawan,

Macros are mostly defined within header files (e.g., l15.tmp.h, l2.tmp.h, etc.).

As a starting point, I suggest you take a look at OpenPiton Synthesis and Back-end Manual for the details.
