So I am trying to use verilator to build and compile the OpenPiton + Ariane version of the manycore processor.

Steps I followed,

1. Cloned the repo
2. source piton/piton_settings.bash
3. source piton/ariane_setup.sh
4. piton/ariane_build_tools.sh

Then inside the build directory I am using the following command to build it:
"sims -sys=manycore -x_tiles=1 -y_tiles=1 -vlt_build -ariane"

Now I have tried it in an env which has ModelSim and -msm_build works just fine but for some reason the verilator version of the command produces the following error:

sims -sys=manycore -x_tiles=1 -y_tiles=1 -vlt_build -ariane

Is it like a known issue? Can we do something about it?

Regards,
Ankush

Hi there,

Yes, this is addressed in the README and has been asked in the group several times if you search. I'd encourage you to read the other items in the readme as well to make sure you have relevant dependencies installed. Happy to answer if you find anything else unexpected.

Thanks,
Jon
