This looks like you're observing the symptom, not the root cause. The ariane build tools script builds the compiler then builds the riscv-tests using the compiler. If the latter is failing (which it is from your screenshot) then that means the compiler wasn't built successfully. You may prefer instead to just download (or install via your package manager assuming your OS has one) a pre-built riscv64-unknown-elf cross compiler rather than building from source.

Thanks,
Jon

Are you presently at least able to clone other github repositories? That's the sort of error that would occur with an outage. You could double check the urls (as https://) to see if the repos still exist. It could be that some repo has been moved/deleted. Some of them are submodules to submodules so we're not directly pointing to them ourselves.

Thanks,
Jon

My suggestion would be to stop using ariane_build_tools.sh. There are other ways these days to get hold of a riscv64-unknown-elf cross compiler, like installing it as a package in your linux distro. If you want to build it yourself you can just clone upstream gcc to do so. Similarly, riscv-tests can be manually cloned and built with that cross compiler.

Thanks,
Jon
