Unsupported or unknown PLI call

Hi,

I'm trying to build openpiton for verilator simulation using the following command.

sims -sys=manycore -msm_build -x_tiles=1 -y_tiles=1 -ariane -vlt_build

However, I run into the following errors. It seems to be related to the verilator version I am using but I'm using the version openpiton install (4.014)

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Can you try 4.110 / 4.100 instead? This is an issue with one line of code inside the ariane codebase. You could alternatively just comment out that line (I've done that before).

Hi Jon,

Thank you! I was able to get the simulation working with Verilator 4.110. 

Verilator 4.100 runs into the following error which is resolved in this conversation.

%Error: /home/andlo47/development/openpiton3/piton/design/chip/tile/ariane/core/cache_subsystem/wt_dcache_wbuffer.sv:486:71: Extracting 8 bits from only 1 bit number
