Hi,

I have a question regarding the caching mechanism of the Branch Target Buffer. Is it a fully associative cache, some other set associative cache or a direct mapped cache?

I think this is an Ariane-specific question? I think its BTB is direct mapped but I'm not sure. The BHT is direct mapped at least. You would probably be better to look in the code or ask in the Ariane repo's issues.
