Hi!

I've just downloaded openphoto from the git repo and installed it on
ubuntu 14.04 (+apache).

I would like make a family photo-sharing website (4 users), but during
the tune of the website I faced with some issues, what I couldn't
resolve.

1. As I saw that there are two privacy levels. On my website I want to
have at least 3 privacy levels. One is Private (the photo is only
available to the uploader), Family (all user can see the photos after
login), Public (same as public). Also it would be great if I can hide
everything before logout (so nobody can see the photos before
successfully logged in). Of course all users want to upload pictures
and have their own albums.
Is there any workaround for it?

2. Is there any plugin with which users can do a slideshow in the browser?

3. I would like to use my own server also for storing my photos. I
have my photos organized into directories. If it is possible i want to
avoid duplicating them.
I found a solution for this on
(https://openphoto.uservoice.com/forums/141441-general-discussion-and-feature-requests/suggestions/2427078-file-system-sync-scan-no-import)
Does anyone have any other ideas?

All the best,

Dávid

Not at the moment. I think "groups" in the next release might do what you need.

Not at the moment. Would love to see that submitted :)

No ideas. It's something that's been brought up a bunch of times and might not be too difficult to add to the LocalFileSystemAdapter but no one's done it yet.
