I'm using local directories, and I'd like to store each user's photos in their own folder, in order to keep things a little more organized.

Basically I'd like to keep the current path /var/trovebox/photos but insert /%username or /%id in the path.

Maybe I could write a plugin? I'm totally new to the project, so if somebody could point me in the right direction that'd be great. Thanks

Hi Isaac,

It's very interesting feature.
I have a question, did you get to install in a shared hosting?

I have got to installed locally in my Mac, but I have a shared server with BLUEHOST. I have got issues running it, it seems to not find the "setup" folder.

If you have got to make it work, I would appreciate your support on how to, cause I have already read and follow the instructions on the documentation that is posted on the support page, but still have got problems getting it go.

Thanks!

Issac, the simplest way would be to have an installation for each user. This requires each user to be on their own sub domain but doing so let's you select what folder each user stores their photos in. We don't strive to organize photos on the file system beyond putting files in folders named YYYYMM - and that isn't really for organization as it is that we don't want all photos in one single directory. Hope that helps. - Jaisen
