Hosted Trovebox service is shutting down

Hi folks,

Today we announced that we are shutting down the hosted service at Trovebox.com - https://trovebox.com/shutdown.

This doesn't affect the open source version you can find on Github but we will probably want to discuss and figure out what the plans are moving forward.

If anyone has questions you can reply to this thread or contact me directly.

Given that when there were people dedicated to work on it, merge and
pull request from contributor where not really handled, how are things
gonna change? Or maybe now I should just consider merging stuff since I
always had the permission but didn't really want to disrupt the plans
that I was not privy to.

So what's the plan now?

That's what we've got to figure out.

The lack of activity was more about Patrick and I focusing on sales/marketing than anything else. Almost all of the work we did that wasn't merged into the community version was merged in late 2014.

As for pull requests, I'd like to get to a place where they're merged or responded to in a timely manner.

Perhaps we open it up for volunteers that want to be involved? Myself, Hub, etc?
