Hi

I am a B.Tech student at LNMIIT,Jaipur. I have worked on several Android apps(details below) and would like to start contributing to OpenKeyChain. I have followed the instructions, in a previous post, provided by Dominik Schuermann, regarding setting up the build system.
I am quite interested in GSOC 2016. I would like to know the active projects i should contribute to, which would help my prospect for GSOC. Also, if someone can give a link of the ideas page for this year, that would be great.

Thanks.

Android App Experience:
I have been involved with android for more than a year now. Here are the playstore links of some of the apps i've contributed to:
I am proficient in several Android functionalities and APIs like Google FusedLocation API, Google Cloud Messaging(Push Notifications), SQLite Database, Services( BroadCastReceiver) , WiFi connect from app, QR code scanner, Google Material Design to name a few.

Hi Divya,

Great to know that you're looking to contribute. Here's a link to our ideas page for this year: https://github.com/open-keychain/open-keychain/wiki/Google-Summer-of-Code-2016

Also, to get started, you could try and solve some of the issues tagged with "help wanted" (https://github.com/open-keychain/open-keychain/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3Ahelp-wanted). They are relatively easy to solve and should help you familiarise yourself with the codebase, before you take on some of the harder issues.

Happy coding.

Regards,
Adithya Abraham Philip.
