Upcoming professional development hosted by Open Oregon Educational Resources

• Register for a Virtual OER Review Workshop taking place on one of three dates: August 10, 5-6pm; August 11, 12-1pm; or August 12, 10-11am. After the workshop, you’ll receive a $200-$300 stipend for writing a review of an open educational resource.
• K12-Higher Ed Connections for OER: Virtual Summer Convening. Preservice faculty are invited to register for paid attendance at a virtual summer convening taking place virtually on September 3, 2026, 9-3. 
• Sponsored Registration for 2026 Open Ed Conference. Sign up by October 2 for Open Oregon Educational Resources to sponsor your registration for attendance at the virtual Open Education Conference, October 27–29, 2026.
• Sponsored Registration for 2026 OEGlobal Conference. Sign up by October 2 for Open Oregon Educational Resources to sponsor your registration for virtual attendance at the OEGlobal Conference, October 7–9, 2026.
• Register for a Virtual OER Review Workshop taking place on one of three dates: November 2, 5-6pm; November 4, 1-2pm; or November 5, 12-1pm.. After the workshop, you’ll receive a $200-$300 stipend for writing a review of an open educational resource.
• Preservice Faculty Course Redesign Registration. Preservice faculty can register by December 18 to receive a $750 stipend to redesign their courses, using open educational resources with an equity lens.

• Growing Your OER Program: Launching the Marketing and Advocacy Toolkit, hosted by Loyola Marymount University and Saint Mary’s College of California. July 23, 12 Pacific.
• Mitchell Scott, Coordinator of Collection Strategies, University of Kentucky, seeks survey participants with experience with inclusive access programs. The survey closes on July 27.
• Registration is open for the AI+OER Institute, hosted by Clover Park Technical College, and taking place virtually from 9-1 Pacific on August 7 and 8.

• Montana State University is hiring an Instruction and Open Strategies Librarian. Screening begins July 20.
