Upcoming Events:

• Open Curriculum Projects Virtual Launch Party! Join Open Oregon Educational Resources to celebrate the hard work, commitment, and care demonstrated by the hundreds of people who contributed to our openly licensed course materials with an equity lens in Human Development and Family Studies, Sociology, and Criminal Justice. October 22, 12-1.
• Customizing the Curriculum: An Assessment of the Impact of Federally Funded OER. Open Ed Conference session where we will finally, finally, share our project outcomes. October 28, 3:10-3:35 Pacific.

New publications:

• More Bang for No Bucks: Students Save Big with Federal Grant Courses: Our key finding regarding student savings is that we almost doubled the projected student savings estimate, far exceeding our target.
• Strong Design, Strong Outcomes: Instructional Design Support Makes a Difference: Our key finding regarding student outcomes is that students benefit from affordable, high-quality course materials implemented with the support of an instructional designer.
• The Open Curriculum Development Model is a comprehensive collection of training and process materials for developing high-quality, openly licensed curriculum in higher education. Our model takes three years of iteration to draft, pilot, and launch textbooks and course packs with an equity lens for four courses in one discipline.
