Proposals for two OER conferences due soon

Hi all, 

There are two separate calls for proposals due soon for international OER conferences coming up in October. Open Oregon Educational Resources can sponsor virtual attendance at both. 

1. The call for proposals is open for OEGlobal 2026, taking place virtually and in Cambridge MA October 7-9. Proposals are due March 30. Conference theme: Come Invent With Us! Innovating open practices to uphold and uplift knowledge as a public good.
2. The call for proposals is open for the Open Education Conference, taking place virtually October 27-29. Proposals are due April 3. Conference theme: The Space Between.

Please consider submitting a proposal for one or both of these conferences! I hope the conference schedules are positively blanketed with Oregonians :)

Hi all, I've gotten two follow-up questions off-list that I'll respond to here :)

First, Open Oregon Educational Resources can't cover travel costs to attend OEGlobal in person. But we can sponsor virtual attendance at either/both of the conferences.

Second, does anyone want to submit a proposal with co-presenters? If you're interested in planning a joint proposal, please reply to me by Monday, March 23, and I'll get you connected.
