******Apologies for cross-posting.*******
Hi all,
I am writing to invite members of this list to participate in a research study examining the impact of inclusive access (also known as "First Day" or "equitable access") programs on library-led textbook affordability initiatives at academic institutions.
If your institution has current or previous experience with an inclusive access program, your perspective would be genuinely valuable to this research.
The study is being conducted via an online survey and should take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Your responses will help us better understand how libraries are navigating the adoption of inclusive access programs and what effects, if any, these programs have had on library affordability efforts — including OER initiatives, course reserves, collections, and staffing. The survey will remain open through July 27.
If you are not the most appropriate person at your institution to respond but know a colleague who works more directly with textbook affordability, OER, course materials, or library collections, we would greatly appreciate you passing this along.
After completing the survey, you will be invited to enter a drawing for a $25 gift card and volunteer to participate in follow-up interviews on the topic.
Thank you in advance for supporting this research. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
