Student advocacy opportunities: The Oregon Student Association (OSA) is working on a bill to support student needs in the upcoming 2024 short session in Oregon. Here’s how students can get involved right now.
Ask your institution’s student government to endorse this bill. They can sign on with the OSA’s endorsement form.
Share the signup form to join OSA for Legislative Days on January 10th and 11th. Students can show support by lobbying in the Capitol Building anytime during those two days and by attending the House Higher Education Committee informational hearing for this bill on Thursday, January 11th from 2:30 - 5 PM. T-shirts and signs will be provided by OSA.
