We are excited to share that a new edition of Functions, Trigonometry, and Systems of Equations by Vanessa Coffelt is now available in our Open Digital Publishing Catalog.
This open textbook, adapted from Precalculus by Stitz and Zeager, has been updated for use at Texas A&M University. It opens with a review of foundational algebra and advances through a structured study of functions, equations, trigonometry, and vectors, offering foundational preparation for calculus.
What's new in this edition?
All math content now uses MathJax for improved accessibility and readability.
All images are in PNG format with meaningful alt text tailored to the surrounding context.
Homework answers are included for all 45 sections.
Headings, color contrast, and links have been revised to meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.
Multiple export formats are available, including PDF and EPUB, for flexible access and offline use.
