Call for Proposals: 2026 AI Virtual Summit The Oregon Community College Distance Learning Association (OCCDLA) invites you to submit a proposal for our Spring AI Virtual Summit. This event is a collaborative effort driven by OCCDLA’s Statewide AI Literacy Initiative and the ITC AI Affinity and Emerging Technologies Committee. This summit aims to bridge the gap between national trends and local implementation, bringing together the higher education community to shape the future of AI. Who Should Submit?  We are looking for many different points of view from everyone in the world of education. Whether you are teaching in a classroom or leading a whole school, your ideas are important.  Faculty: (Full-time and Adjunct) share pedagogical innovations. Staff: (Instructional Designers, Technologists, and Student Support) build the infrastructure and support systems. Administration: (Deans, VPs, and Policymakers) guide governance and strategy. Event Details: Date: Friday, April 24, 2026 Time: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM Pacific Time (11:30 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time) Theme: From Policy to Practice: Navigating the AI Landscape We are seeking interactive, 45-minute sessions that provide tangible takeaways ("Workshop in a Box") for attendees.  Please submit your proposal by Monday, March 2nd.  NOTE: you will need to create an account on the ITC website when submitting your proposal.
