Calls for proposals in the open education field
Achieving the Dream is seeking proposals for 30-minute and 60-minute concurrent sessions to be presented at their annual convening which will take place in-person, February 14–17 in Chicago, IL. Proposals are due October 7.
DOERS3 seeks participants to pilot the Equity Through OER Rubric; compensation is available. Proposals are due Oct 24.
DOERS3 seeks case study authors for a peer-reviewed, book-length project centered around valuing open education work in the tenure, promotion, and reappointment process. Abstracts of no more than 250 words for potential case studies are due Oct 24.
Communications in Information Literacy (CIL) seeks submissions for a theme issue on the connections between information literacy and open educational practices. Submission deadline is December 15, 2022.
OER-related job opportunities
Not that I want anyone to leave Oregon, but South Seattle College is seeking a Dean for Instructional Support Services. The role includes leading division related initiatives, such as open education resources, and serving as the designated campus copyright officer. Applications are due October 18.
