Uploading Documents

Hello, 

I would like people who are members to upload some documents to the system. How can users do this? How can I view these documents as an administrator?

In OpenOlat there are various options for members to upload files. Without a precise description of the requirement, it is difficult to make a concrete recommendation. A good starting point for this topic is certainly the help page about the personal and other folders.

Hi Urs

I have now uploaded a few documents to a personal folder from  "user" account. But I also want to see the documents uploaded by this user from my "administrator" account. For example, openolat is used in an organization and I will ask users to upload some documents for proof, and as an administrator, I want to control them.

The “public” personal folder is visible o everyone, including the administrator: https://<your-openolat>/auth/HomeSite/<user-id>/userfolder/0

The course element participant folder could also be suitable for the use case described. All course participants are given a folder in which they can upload documents. The course owners can view the documents and process them further. Thanks to the notifications, the course owner is informed when each document is uploaded.
