what are the differences between those sensors ?

I found spec for PrimeSense sensor. There is 1280x960 color camera, but depth is still 640x480.
Kinect has 640x480 depth too, but real resolution for depth is 320x240. In PrimeSense sensor is the same situation, or there is "real" 640x480 depth ?
