Hi,

This release will fix the timeout problem on Linux & Mac machines.

Changes from v0.9:
1) Sources & Bins were updated to be based on the latest OpenNI
(1.5.2.7) & Sensor (5.1.0.25).
2) The Bayer-to-RGB filter was also changed to use the ROS
(www.ros.org) code as requested by many community members. (Thanks to
Suat Gedikli from Willow Garage for writing the code and to Raphael
Dumusc for the OpenNI adaptation!)

You can download the sources & pre-compiled bins from:
https://github.com/avin2/SensorKinect

The "Bin" directory has installers for Windows, Linux & MacOSX.

Note: This version must be used with OpenNI 1.5.2.7! It will not work
or compile with previous versions so please be sure to install it.

Enjoy!

avin.

Here's another confirmation on the success of the updated SensorKinect
libs in MacOSX.

After downloading and extracting the ZIP-wrapped project from github,
I copied the libs into place, as per:

MacProLion:~ lance$ sudo cp ~/Desktop/Sensor-Bin-MacOSX-v5.1.0.25/Lib/
*.dylib /usr/lib

Thanks VERY much to avin for the prompt attention to the problem!

So there is no Sensorkinect driver for the current OpenNI_v1.5.2.23
right?

If so, does anybody have a download link to the working OpenNI and
Nite version?

Thanks a lot in advance!

This one worked for me: http://75.98.78.94/downloads/primesense-win32-fullinstaller-dev-20.4.2.20.exe

Uncompressed it with 7zip and got:
NITE-Win32-1.5.2-Dev.msi
OpenNI-Win32-1.5.2-Dev.msi
Sensor-Win32-5.1.0-Redist.msi

Sorry, misunderstood your question, haven't tested with avin's
Sensorkinect yet.

Hi Sergio,

thanks for your reply. I would be happy to get the 1.5.2.7 MAC
versions somewhere but I cannot find them on the net.

I think my question was not very clear, sorry.

Thanks!

Last time I tried, it seems that the last available version of
SensorKinect does work with the latest OpenNI stuff, even though the
driver is one version behind.

Cheers

It doesn't work for me. Windows 7 64Bit crash. (OpenNI 1.5.2.23)
