Re-install ONIE image on ARM systems

Dear ONL folks,
I am building a lot of images lately, and need to install them.
I used `onie-nos-install`, but after that the system is in boot mode
`INSTALLED`, and this environment does not provide that command anymore.
On the Web, a lot of pages describe the process for x86 systems with
GRUB, and for ARM systems I only found to execute `run onie_rescue` in
the bootloader – probably U-Boot, and that works.
Is there another way to install new ONIE (ONL) images on ARM systems.
