Pole balancing/inverted pendulum test

I've started poking around in the openNERO code because I'm interested in using it for research. My research will focus on changing certain aspects of the NEAT algorithm. As such I'd like to repliacte some of the experiments that was done in Kenneth Stanley's rtNEAT paper, like the double pole balancing experiment. Is there a mod that does something like the pole balancing test? If not, is there anything related that I can base my mod on? Because if not then maybe it will just be easier to go with the original rtNEAT package.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to compare apples to apples against some result reported by Ken, and you don't need fancy visualizations, then the original NEAT C++ package (which we've updated only slightly to make sure it builds) is the way to go:
