Reminder message. 

Moi University invites applicants to apply for the Master of Science in Health Informatics programme 2015/2016 academic year that begins in September 2015. Media adverts are currently on the local television channels advertising courses from Moi University.

Note the deadline for applications is 30th May 2015. Inform others to do the applications.

This is a great step towards developing health informatics capacity  in our region. Kindly share the information widely.

Application details 

Programme: Master of Science in Health Informatics

Admission requirements
a)       Meet the common Moi University School of Medicine Graduate studies Committee (SOMGSC) entry requirements as they refer to Master of Science Programmes
b)       A Bachelor’s Degree in the Health Sciences from Moi University or its equivalent from other institutions approved by Moi University Senate.
OR
c)       A Bachelor’s Degree in Computing or Information Science from Moi University or its equivalent from other institutions approved by Moi University Senate.
d)       If from foreign countries, show evidence of proficiency in English language.
e)       Pass admission interviews as determined by the Departmental Postgraduate Committee.
 
Mode of study:    Fulltime

 
Venue:                   Moi University College of Health Science, School of Medicine, Eldoret
Commencing:       September 2015
Course cost:         Kshs. 174,000/= per year for Kenyans and East African Students and Kshs. 209,640/= per year for non East Africa
 
Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
 
Application forms can be obtained from the Dean Schools of Medicine office or downloaded from Moi University website. (www.mu.ac.ke) and pay Kshs. 2,000 application fees. Attached is a copy of the application for  and the referee form.
 
NB: Students should arrange to pay for their own accommodation, living expenses, transport, textbooks and stationery.

What programmes such as this one are available online or satelite universities
