Hello everyone,

Release 3 of OpenMRS Express is now available here:

http://www.who.int/kms/initiatives/openmrs_express/en/index.html

This version switches over to the OpenMRS 1.3 framework and includes
the following:
- Upgraded all modules to work with OpenMRS 1.3 RC4
- Initial submission of HL7 import/export code, HIV core indicator
calculations from UKZN
- Export of cohort data to IXF for DHIS and CRIS
- Slightly improved startup sequence
- Upgraded to tomcat 6.0.16
- Upgraded to OpenMRS 1.3 RC4 framework
- Bug fixes (see http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=dfwdhsvp_18gc8twkgx&hl=en)
#1, #2, #3, #4, #5
- Added OpenMRS Express User role and new default user
username is "default"
password is "abc123"
- Added lab test results as well as a new lab test result form

This release does not have the BIRT reporting module - the templates
to render the registries need to be updated. This functionality will
be again available in the next release. You can as always produce the
registries as data exports

Hello again.

Release 3 of OpenMRS Express uses a new startup script which will
ensure that you can restart the application regardless of how you shut
it down. It is still very rough though. Please let me know how you
find this new version and if you have any suggestions as to how it
could work better or be move convenient.

regards,

Philippe

Hello everyone,

Release 4 of OpenMRS Express:HIV is now available, changes include:

-Update of database schema to 1.3.0.15

-Update of OpenMRS core to 1.3.1
-blocked off the Regimen tab in the patient dashboard

since it is not used in this version of OpenMRS

(bug 13)

-Restored BIRT report templates and generated new

templates for the pre-ART and ART registers.

-Upgraded the registers to match exactly the column

set defined in the IMAI guidelines

-Minor bug fixes to the input forms

-Corrected patient exit on the patient dashboard to reflect
allowed possibilities through IMAI
guidelines. The prefered
method however is still to use the IMAI
followup or return
encounter forms.
-Relabeled the "No Problems" button on the encounter

form so that it's function is clearer

-Fixed the most recent observations display so that

values are shown along with the appropriate concept.

The new release can be downloaded here as both a ZIP archive or a self-
extracting archive

Hello everyone,

Release 5 is now available. This one adds Infopath 2003 forms for all
of the IMAI forms in the system. If you do not need to use Infopath
2003, then you do not need to install this release. It can be
downloaded from the usual location:

http://www.who.int/kms/initiatives/openmrs_disclaimer/en/index.html

Excerpt from the README file:

Infopath 2003 support:
From release 5, OpenMRS Express:HIV includes Infopath 2003 forms.
These forms are generated automatically from the Infopath 2007
versions and are constrained by Infopath 2003 functional limitations,
particularly in the area of date manipulation. These forms are not
fully supported or tested so the default installation disables them.
If you would like to enable or use these forms, you must launch the

enable_infopath_2003_forms.cmd

script from the install archive directory after you have installed
OpenMRS Express. If OpenMRS is running, this script will first shut it
down in order to modify the database.

Regards,

Philippe
