Adding new courses

I installed openmooc instance to my laptop  using virtual box images for testing purpose.I could register a new user who can view the courses which is added by somebody else....thats all..I want to add new courses .  How can I add new courses to instance ??? How can I do the educator task????...

In order to create courses you need "platform manager" permission. In the virtual-machine-demo exists the user ad...@example.com with this permission.

After creating the course you can asign teachers to it (at the teacher admin interface) and they will be also allowed to build the course (create nuggets based on video, questions, etc)

Hi Sinija.

Are you using the virtualbox appliance? It has an already configured idp and you should be able to login.

If you are using your own instance then you have to properly configure SAML in every component, check the documentation: https://github.com/OpenMOOC/moocng/blob/master/docs/source/configuration.rst#saml-configuration
