enhancing Learning Analytics

Hi all,

thx for ur gr8 efforts to produce open Mooc.

I've two questions

the first if I want to enhance   Learning Analytics to be someting like Khan Academy

deep analysis in student profile.


the second one of I want to add a new  Course and it will be announced soon
but let the user register in it and I could send him the updates
How I could do that .?

Openmooc has a massive mail tool (based on external services for avoiding being qualified as spammer) , and an announcement facility (rss feed indeed), both methods fulfill your requirement, isn't it?

I've no problem for sure but maybe I need more details

how the analytic should be done

- using Amazon EMR  
then represent the data using  http://nvd3.org/

or just some quarries represented through  http://nvd3.org/
