Hello dear participants and interested researchers, in short dear community,
we are very pleased about the vast interest in EV modeling in general and our tool, VencoPy specifically. Attached you find the workshop slides. The recordings are being cut these days so you should receive them in due course within the next week. Also, thanks to Robbie Morrison, VencoPy is now listed as a “specialist model” on the Wikipedia-page of Open energy system models: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_energy_system_models#VencoPy
Some follow-up discussions were already sparked amidst the aftermath of the workshop. On this line, I want to point to a mailing-list that a few fellow transport-energy researchers started, called openmod-trans. The list is still young and not comparable to the Strommarktgruppe, but if you’re interested in transport-energy-modeling related research questions, methods and publications, join in (it’s free!): https://groups.google.com/g/openmod-trans
