Dear open transport modellers,
I am happy to share with you our new publication in Environmental Research Letters: https://doi.org/10.1088/1748-9326/acea98
The paper describes three different sufficiency scenarios for German passenger transport. It constructs qualitative storylines and quantifies them in the open source transport model quetzal_germany. The collection of 133 sufficiency drivers, the transformation dynamics of the storylines, and the corresponding traffic avoidance and mode shift impacts highlight two aspects in particular: a vision for the mobility transition, and that sufficiency is not a mere lifestyle trend but a systemic transformation.
We hope you enjoy reading.
Best regards
Marlin
