We'd like to invite you to the Berlin Battery Hackathon, a 36-hour build sprint taking place April 24–26 at Ringberlin.
Batteries are no longer just components. They are strategic infrastructure shaping grid resilience, renewable integration, and Europe's ability to withstand external shocks. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz is a reminder of how quickly energy security becomes real.
Developers, engineers, founders, and energy professionals will work on concrete challenges together with battery innovator CustomCells, deep-tech startup alteva, European Energy Exchange (EEX), and major utility Enefit.

* Smarter flexibility scheduling for distribution grids, replacing seasonal reservation blocks with day-ahead and intraday precision

* Virtual power plant architecture, aggregating and disaggregating battery assets in real time under technical constraints
