Dear openmodders,

We're organising a second edition of our conference on energy, climate, and ESG in Oslo from May 3, 2023 to May 5, 2023. We'd like to invite you to participate in this physical event at the University of Oslo.

Throughout these three days, we will have the opportunity to discuss, present, and exchange the latest advances in the stochastics of risk measuring, modelling, and managing, with a particular focus on energy systems, climate, and finance (ESG). For this we gathered a great group of experts in these fields.

Key topics involve modelling uncertainty in climate and weather, optimisation problems related to energy systems to control emissions, as well as measuring risk factors related to climate change. There will be a mix of talks by invited speakers and contributed talks by the participants.

There is the opportunity to present research; please declare that you are interested and submit a title and extended abstract/paper by March 31, 2023. For participation, the registration deadline is also March 31. We're planning to accept contributed talks on a rolling basis, so we encourage to submit and register earlier. Here's the link to sign up for both: https://nettskjema.no/a/riskef2

More information about the conference as e.g. the invited speakers can be found on the website:

For more inspiration take a look at last year's program. I'll also open a thread in the openmod forum for this.

We're looking forward to seeing you in Oslo. If there are any questions about this, don't hesitate to contact me.

On behalf of the organising commitee,
Aleksander
