Hello all, a bit off‑topic relative to modeling ..

A large recently‑installed wind turbine near Haltern, Germany collapsed on Wednesday 29 September 2021.

The turbine was located in a wind park set in a forest. The turbine had a hub height of 164m and a total height of 239m. The lower tower section is composed of individual concrete segments up to a height of 98.5 meters. Two steel tower segments with lengths of 28.5 meters and 35 meters complete the tower. The tower was manufactured by Hamburg company Nordex.

The power rating was not reported in the general media. The collapsed turbine was discovered by a forester.
