EV charging flexibility and energy investmetns based on driving habits

Dear all,

Open-source energy system modelling is a powerfull tool to plan the decarbonisation of the energy system, but existing models still lack people behaviour. In the first paper of his PhD, Arven Syla integrates trips from more than 57,000 respondents to get an understanding of the EV flexibility towards renewable energy in Switzerland, and its impacts on investments on the energy system. He uses the open-source energy system model GRIMSEL.  The paper can be downloaded here.
