Metadata is vital for data interpretation and data reutilisation. This survey aims to determine what meta information is most relevant for individuals working with energy data and thus what information should be available and mandatory in the metadata.

This survey is part of
· the collaborative development process of the Open Energy Platform (OEP<https://openenergy-platform.org/>)
· M.Sc. Thesis in the research project SIROP<https://openenergy-platform.org/about/project-detail/sirop/>

The survey is conducted using the Open Energy Metadata (OEMetadata<https://github.com/OpenEnergyPlatform/oemetadata>).
