We are pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 44th International Energy Workshop (IEW), to be held at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, from 22 to 24 June 2026.

The IEW is a leading forum for the international energy modelling community, bringing together scholars and researchers to compare modelling tools, discuss methodological advances, and track emerging trends in the global energy sector. In a world of growing environmental and economic complexity, energy modelling is an increasingly vital tool for sound planning and policy-making.

This year's edition is hosted by the Energy Systems Research Group (ESRG) at the University of Cape Town.
