Dear openmod community,

At the 2024 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting, we will be hosting a session on “GC114 - Net-Zero Emissions Energy Systems: Geophysical Constraints, Consequences, and Opportunities”.

This session has been running every year since 2016. The conference will be held in person in Washington, D.C., for those who can attend, as well as online from 9 to 13 December 2024.

We would love to have contributions from the entire open energy modeling community with a particular focus the intersection of energy systems and environmental, geophysical and climate sciences. Our scope is broad, so your work does not have to fit this description exactly to be included in our session.

The abstract submission deadline is 31 July 2024 (23:59 EDT/03:59 +1 GMT). You can find more information at the session link above.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,
Angelo Carlino

On behalf of all the conveners Shi Chen, Morgan Edwards, and Steve Davis
