Committed to fossil fuel phaseout? Join the Climate Analytics team as the Unit Lead for Energy System Modelling!

You will lead a highly engaged team and guide the organisation's work on power and energy system modelling tools in projects relating to decarbonisation, 1.5°C pathways and climate-change mitigation analysis. You will also collaborate with colleagues on ensuring the scientific integrity of the team’s input to our flagship projects such as the Climate Action Tracker and the 1.5°C National Pathways Explorer.

We currently work with tools including PyPSA and LEAP, as well as methods that downscale global mitigation pathways, and are looking to further develop and expand the suite of modelling tools used.
