New Scientist letter on integrated assessment modeling

Hello all

Not too far off‑topic I hope?

New Scientist magazine recently interviewed Simon Sharpe, a diplomat turned climate campaigner, on his ideas about how best to rapidly decarbonize (Marshall 2023).  Sharpe's ideas were pretty home‑grown at best.

So I wrote the following letter to the editor of New Scientist.  And the print version dropped thru my letterbox yesterday.

Sharpe now works for the World Resources Institute, based in Washington DC.
